How to Enrol

We have separate registration forms for Finnish language courses for foreigners and for other courses. Please fill in a correct form. Click the correct choice in the left-hand list, and you will be directed to the registration form.

You can enrol on a Finnish course by filling in an online registration form by the last day of enrolment. The last day to enrol is mentioned in each course description. Please note that the courses may fill up before the last day of enrolment. Students will be enrolled on the courses on a first-come, first-served basis. There is, however, a waiting list for each course in case it is needed. A course can be cancelled if there are too few participants.

Please be careful when choosing the right course for yourself. Read the course descriptions, and when choosing the suitable course level, refer to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CERF) developed by the Council of Europe. In case you are uncertain which course to choose, please contact our office so that we can help you to find the course that suits you the best.

Please note that every enrolment is binding and can be cancelled without a cancellation fee in the following cases:

  • 2 weeks or more before the beginning of the course
  • In case of an illness, in which case the student will have to present a written certificate from a doctor.

In case the cancellation is made later than instructed, we will claim 50% of the course fee as a cancellation fee. If the cancellation is made after the course has begun, or no cancellation is made, the course fee will be charged in full.
